The NEXT Competence Centre is officially formed

KTH's President has made the formal decision to establish and host the NEXT Competence Centre on behalf of the consortium.
The partners in the NEXT have been informally collaborating to establish this Competence Centre e.g. via activities such as co-developing a portfolio of research plans.
Formalities however do matter. Today, 12 March, the KTH President took the formal decision to establish and host the NEXT Competence Centre on behalf of the consortium. KTH was also the first signatory of the Centre Agreement, which governs how the Centre should operate as well as the various roles and responsibilities of partners.
This Centre Agreement is now being distributed to the other 23 partners for their formal ratification.
